The Carraway Apartments are located in the Town/Village of Harrison in southern Westchester County approximately 22 miles northeast of Manhattan. The Harrison Recreation Department offers adult, teen, children and senior programs. Harrison has two senior clubs. The West Harrison Group meets at the Leo Mintzer Community Center at 251 Underhill Avenue. The Department runs town pools, several playgrounds and parks, tennis courts and youth and adult sports. A branch of the Harrison Public Library is located in West Harrison.

Mastercard and PepsiCo are headquartered in Harrison. Pepsico hosts the Donald M. Kendall Sculpture Garden which is a collection of 45 pieces of outdoor sculpture including work from Rodin and Moore.

Residents of Carraway will be served by the Harrison Central School District which are Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence including the Harrison High School, Louis M. Klein Middle School and four elementary schools. The Preston School serves West Harrison. Purchase College, State University of New York, and Fordham University’s Westchester campus are located in Harrison.
